Yamaha 1300 Tourer - Yamaha 1300 Tourer Fansite

My buddy & I are planning our next big event which is to ride to the Arctic Circle in Alaska (66 33 19.41N, 150 48 47.03W). The trip is about 4845 miles one way which according to my calculation should take 21 – 22 days… that is if we keep with the schedule and don't have any issues. I know I can do it but I am not sure if my 2008 bike can make the trip, I have over 33000 miles and the last 12.8 miles of the trip is dirt road. I haven’t seen or heard of any touring bikes going there. Any thoughts?... Ali
