Ordered this comm. set and received it in about a week from Ebay. Set up was very quick and easy as the two headsets were already paired. I only had to pair the cell phones. I won't be doing any cell phone chatting while riding, but it sure is nice to get the helmet on and ready to go then make the quick call home that I am on my way!
I used the set as rider to rider this weekend and it performed really well for my intended application. The reception distance is enough for me as I didn't lose contact until out of spec. range.
I don't use a GPS system so I can't report on that, and the FM radio seems to work quite well however it is not something that I would use for in town riding where I get good reception. Haven't tried it out on the highway yet.
I plugged in my iPod to see how it sounds.......not good. I have been riding for three years and listening to the radio or iPod in my helmet is not for me, so the fact that this part of the system seems to lack doesn't concern me. I like my music and maybe down the road with a few more years of riding experience I will look into a different system, but for now I ride quiet with all senses focused on the road!
All in all, for the money, I am very pleased with the Scala Rider Q2
