Yamaha 1300 Tourer - Yamaha 1300 Tourer Fansite

I posted this question on another forum but I wanted to ask on this one as well...

I went to the shop the other day to have them lube up the cables on my 1300. When I got the bike back the mechanic adjusted my clutch lever to where the clutch catches right at the end of the release of the lever. I hated that so I adjusted it back to where it catches about an inch from when I start releasing it.

Now I notice that whenever I try to push the bike in first gear into the garage rather than just putting it in neutral there is a lot of drag. I've never noticed this before and now I'm afraid that the clutch isn't releasing all the way when I hold the clutch lever in.

Is this normal?
