Has anyone done a cost analysis on our bike? Although I'm no accountant, I added up all the expenses for the joys of ownership: price, taxes, licensing, testing fee, insurance, accessories, gear (apparel), service, and gas. Then I divided that figure by the total miles to date, getting a current cost-ratio of $3.01 per mile . Of course, that figure will come down the more I ride, proving you save money for thrills, chills, prestige, sex-appeal, peer-envy and sheer enjoyment! My wife will appreciate that logic.
