Yamaha 1300 Tourer - Yamaha 1300 Tourer Fansite

I'm finally getting the fork springs changed over to the Progressive 11-1145's on my 2009 1300T with 10,000 kms (6,215 miles).
When I pulled out the stock springs and looked down the tubes with a flashlight I noticed the left fork oil was a dirty brown colour.
The fork oil from the right side is a dirty purple colour, which I'm assuming should be a normal colour for this amount of mileage?
I plan on asking my service manager for his opinion on this colour difference and what potentially could be going wrong on the left fork?
Thought I would post here and see if anyone else has an idea?
