We all know how much every one loves Ethanol... and I have tried to find a source to buy real gas but failed miserably.
A gearhead friend of mine suggested at around 5000 miles when the tank is almost dry to add no more than one gallon of real racing fuel. He is well respected mechanic in this area and also an avid biker.
He says that when you start it you will instantly clean out the crap in the engine and then ride conservatively for no more than 10 miles... then fill up with whatever fuel you normall use.
I use only PREMIUM fuel (sadly with ethanol) and would like to know what others think of this.
Happy New Year all!!
