Yamaha 1300 Tourer - Yamaha 1300 Tourer Fansite

So, I finally got around to getting a ram mount for my iphone 3G so I could run the pocketdyno application--because everybody wants to know how fast their bike really is :-) I needed it to hold the iphone stationary (velcro won't cut it). I thought that this is cheap clean fun!

I found a lightly traveled road out in the desert, and for kicks fired up the app. It is easy to use, but beware, you need to have the gloves off to activate the touch screen. I found that you do need to use the christmas tree setup for launch, and to be ready to go in short order! I will be out this weekend giving it another go!

After a couple of blown runs, I came up with:

82hp at the rear wheel
1/4 mile speed 105.6 mph
12.95 second 1/4 mile

Now take it all in with a grain of salt...I don't know how accurate it all really is, but the HP at the rear wheel is right in line with what Shane at SS Custom Cycle has reported it to be (after opening the breathing with mods).
