Yamaha 1300 Tourer - Yamaha 1300 Tourer Fansite

I am from Western Colorado.
I joined the site because I will be the person working on my son’s bike. Yea I don’t own the tourer
But I will be putting on mods, and doing maintenance for them. I have been retired so to speak for a while, and the boys work a 3 week on 2 week off shifts in the oil fields. So instead of having them waist time doing maintenance on the bikes I do what ever is needed and then when they are back we ride.
I am currently getting them into long distance riding and they think I am trying to kill them.
I like the configuration of the Yamaha 1300 series bikes. Between us we have an FJR, a Stryker and the Tourer, mine is the old tank a BMW R1200c (the noisy tractor that keeps on going).
