Yamaha 1300 Tourer - Yamaha 1300 Tourer Fansite

I bought my 2009 1300 Tourer in Galaxy Blue last week, due to a family situation at home back in august when I first decided to buy it the sale was postponed until last week, so far I have a total of a glorious 32 miles on it but being that this is Alaska its approaching winter so today the bike goes into hibernation until spring which may be late april, my other bike a 1980 Honda CX 500 Deluxe will now get some much needed cosmetic work like a paint job so the Vetter matches the tank on the bike, I may get the same blue as the 1300T.

I have a full sized heated shop at work where I am a diesel mechanic, fabricator and machinist, I can do almost anything including making my own billet parts of which I seriously plan on doing. I love the 1300T but the wind buffeting will have to cease and I am thinking of scrapping the stock windshield altogether and designing my own version of a fairing similar to my old Vetter but using carbon fiber cloth of which I have.

Anyway so just saying hello and how I envy you that either live in a warmer part of the country or where its now summer!
