Yamaha 1300 Tourer - Yamaha 1300 Tourer Fansite

Finally got to pick her up this weekend. Brand new '08. Got an absolutely smoking deal...Details on the bike can be found in my original Intro post. http://1300tourer.com/node/4830

Only able to put about 50 miles on this weekend (so far), but I'm liking the bike. I do have the 'clunk' up front and will be looking into all the options from the 'clunk' threads. The Mustang seat and the RTSD bars put me in a very comfortable riding position. I bet I can do many hours on the bike without too much discomfort...hopefully I will be able to find out soon! What I find surprising is that I don't find the buffeting from the windshield to be all that bad. From all the complaints I've read on here, I was expecting it to be a lot worse. I will be raking out the shield a bit and cutting it down to a more useful size, so we will see how that affects the wind.

Looking forward to many miles of riding enjoyment out of this bike, and hopefully some of those will be with the other Oklahoma 1300 owners!
