Yamaha 1300 Tourer - Yamaha 1300 Tourer Fansite

Has anyone taken a horn from a 1985 Virago 1000 (sounds like a car horn) and put it on a 2009 V Star 1300 (or something similar to that swap)? If so is it just a "2 wires off and 2 wires on swap" - no in line fuses or resistors required? Long shot that anyone has done this I know but thought it was worth asking .... thanks .... just don't want to burn up anything or blow any fuses, etc.
I just took off the Virago horn and on the back it says "2A 12V" (but man it is loud) .... I believe the little "beeper" horns on the 1300 are rated maximum of 3A .... so is it the coil resistence I should be concerned about or do you think I am safe just swapping out?? Thanks for any info
