Yamaha 1300 Tourer - Yamaha 1300 Tourer Fansite

I just installed my K & N filter this evening after I got home from work. I noticed a difference in sound immediately. I did not have a chance to road test Candy yet with the new filter installed, but just sitting there and revving the engine I could hear the difference in sound. Already the bike appears to run smoother, even at idle speed and with the little bit of revving I did I could tell the difference. I don't know if there is any horsepower gain or not with the K & N filter, but it definitely runs and sounds better. I also have the drilled exhaust mod along with the K & N filter. Did the exhaust mod last year. Can't wait to get her on the road and see if there is any difference in performance. Should be a lot smoother. I'll be changing to full synthetic oil this weekend too. I'm hoping to get an even more smoother operation from my scooter by going to full synthetic as well.
