Last Thursday, while a good many of you guys were having a nice festive time.. I was doing my airborne duty and jumping out of a perfectly good airplane...
If you notice in the photo.. there is a barbed-wire fence behind me. On the other side of the fence were some nice beef cattle. My parachute - assisted by the wind - thought that it might be a good idea to go and check them out and tried to drag me along. Fortunately that barbed-wire fence was there to stop me....
Talk about ATGATT..... I needed it then for damn sure...
Oh and for all you math wizzes out there.. If you have a parachute with a 10 knot forward drift.. and you find yourself turned into the wind but drifting backwards at around, oh Id say 5 knots... what is the correct wind speed??? Im pretty sure it wasnt 7 knots as reported before we jumped...
