Yamaha 1300 Tourer - Yamaha 1300 Tourer Fansite

I am a newbie so please be patient with me. I looked everywhere and even called Baron after installing their BAK (which is a colossal no-brainer if you want a smoother more powerful throttle).

I wanted to get rid of what the 1100 guys say is a terrible left side cover. I agree. Baron has an easy fix for the 1100 but nothing for the 1300 (yet...and no timeline for one). I am very tempted to buy the 1100 left side teardrop and get my tech to fabricate a mount/bracket.

Anyone already fabricate a left side teardrop to match the right side BAK chrome cover?
