Yamaha 1300 Tourer - Yamaha 1300 Tourer Fansite

A couple lighting questions - don't know if I'll opt to do either, but thought I'd get opinions ...
- Has anyone used LED light strips under the tank to light up their engines? How's it look on the 1300?
- What about using white LED strips along the front-side edge of their lowers to improve visibility to other drivers? I've never seen it, but wondered if it might work.
