Yamaha 1300 Tourer - Yamaha 1300 Tourer Fansite

I've been looking at bars for my 1300T and found some Baron RSTD Bars (BA-7308-00) but wasn't sure if they would fit. They advertise that they give 2" of extra pullback but don't say from what starting point. Talked to a couple of guys who had them and they said you could use them but the cables needed rerouting. After all the good feedback I've read on this site about their customer service, I called Shane at SS Custom to talk to him about Bagger Bars and RSTDs. It just so happened he had ordered a couple of BARON RSTD bars to measure and check out. According to his side by side comparison, they are virtually identical to the Star RSTD bars (maybe a 1/2" shorter), based on this, he is going to begin carrying them instead of the Star RSTD at a price of $89.95 ($40 less than the Star RSTD). Good news for those of us wanting these bars who want to save the money for other mods!
