Yamaha 1300 Tourer - Yamaha 1300 Tourer Fansite

This year I'd like to ride from Albany NY area to Riverside CA in mid May and should be back in time to attend the M&G at Lake George. I know there are many experienced riders on this forum, I'd appreciate to get some suggestions, advices from anyone to assist me in preparing this major attempt of mine.
My 2008 tourer has 13400 mile so far. I've made a trip to Chicago (from Albany) in late April 2009 and a trip to Detroit (via Canada)in 09/09.
Also, If anyone interested in riding with me partway or the whole way that would be welcomed and appreciated.
