Yamaha 1300 Tourer - Yamaha 1300 Tourer Fansite

Last night installed the RSTD bars (using the absolutely great instructions in the how to section - actually used the one for installing 950 bars mostly) and installed the Avon Air Cushion Grips (no end weights required) ...... MAN WHAT A DIFFERENCE ..... I have the Mustang seat with the back rest and now I can just sit back and relax ..... the extra pull back puts me in an incredibly comfortable position - not sure what I could do to make it better/get more comfortable ..... the Avon grips seem to work well too ..... was only able to put about 35 miles on it since the installs so really need to go on a longer ride to fully test the new grips but right now couldn't be happier with the changes ..... highly, HIGHLY recommend changing out the bars (even if you think you are happy with the OEMs - you'll like the RSTDs better) .....
