Yamaha 1300 Tourer - Yamaha 1300 Tourer Fansite

I put on thunder air filter and adaptor plate for the 1300 .Has anyone else did this man what an annoying hissing sound.I've narrowed it down to the little air intake hole for the thottle body at idle .It was so bad iI had to remove it and install the stock filter back on.If someone else has had this problem was it corrected or did you just live with it.. it was not worth hearing last weekend on a 300 mile ride..i e-mailed thunder to see what they say,the bike did run smoother mpg was 42 not bad for my driving style..
