I have read this a few times on different posts about windshield tilting. I made some new brackets to tilt my tall oem shield to match the fork angle and went for a ride. It seemed ok but took them off and installed it the way the factory did. I thought it worked a little better in the factory position but doesn't look as nice. I have some Yam lowers comming so I'm hoping that will help the buffeting. I looked at the Harley lowers but didn't want to drill the mounting bracket, Bucks seem to have alot of plastic behind the windshield that's already there and don't go very far down the fork legs plus pricey. The yam lowers are about in the middle with price, looks and hopefully function. I plan to take the wife along on some rides and don't want her to get blown away so looking for a happy medium. Is it really that bad to look through the windshield rather than over it. I really try to avoid riding in the rain if at all possible. Sorry for the dumb questions, first bike with a windshield.
I know all of this windshield stuff is water under the bridge for most of you but it's all new to me. Your comments would be appreciated.
