Yamaha 1300 Tourer - Yamaha 1300 Tourer Fansite

Out of nowhere there appeared the right rear qtr panel of a green taurus station wagon. A pregnant lady in search of pizza had pulled a left turn right in front of me. It was directly in my path. I think I had time to utter just one perhaps two expletives and leave a skid mark. Next to greet my ears a loud bang as the bike made contact just in front of the back tire. I remember looking in the window at close range.

The next scene is of me laying on the pavement watching the antifreeze leak like blood from my crumpled bike as I cursed what I knew was at least a broken left wrist. Typing one handed sucks.

I haven't seen the bike yet, I still have to see a dr. for my wrist as er just splinted it. More to come.

Surgery scheduled to put me back together tomorrow. The lady admitted her fault and was ticketed. And she has ins. Now I am off to the lot where the bike is, will take pics and post. The Good Lord does keep his hand upon us.

Surgery was a success. Bike was totaled. Have a deposit down on an 08 Black Cherry model. Got it for $9999.00 plus tax & freight. Will order Flanders wide max bars and let the dealer install while I heal.
