Yamaha 1300 Tourer - Yamaha 1300 Tourer Fansite

Can any of you that have Touring trunks...(Givi , Mutazu etc.) give me the lowdown on your impressions of them? I'm particularly concerned with ease of use, storage space, looks and of course, price.

I guess I'm looking for a value comparason. I don't presently have a luggage rack- are there any that come with a mount that goes right to the sissy bar or is a luggage rack needed?.

I'm seriously considering the Givi E52 Maxia Monokey Topcase (ea) - 52 liters/case Best price (Twisted Throttle.com) I've seen so far is 265.59 + 53.46 for Gloss Black vs. Matte black. Plus shipping, I guess
seems like a good value for the price. I would sometimes use it to bring a small laptop computer out with me.

How important are extras like a top mounted luggage rack (for the top of the trunk) and brake lights?

Would I be better off sticking with the stock sissy bar backrest or going with the optional backrests that so many of these trunks come with?
