Well, I finally got around to finalizing the installation of a set of Victory Crossroads handlebars on my 1300. I got the bars from lstayner and found end weights at the Sioux Falls Victory dealer. They came off a wrecked bike they had in the back. Hopefully, that is not an omen.
The handlebars make for a more comfortable riding position and allowed me to use the OEM cables, hoses, grips etc. You will have to drill a new pin hole in the right hand bar to hold the throttle assembly, but this is pretty easy to do. Because the bars are narrower and have more pullback, the stock mirrorrs didn't work. All I could see in the mirrors were my arms and shoulders. Again lstayner to the rescue. He found the perfect extensions at luckybike.com for under $20. They came USPS in 3 days and included the bolts to mount them to the stock mounts.
