Yamaha 1300 Tourer - Yamaha 1300 Tourer Fansite

After about 9000 miles my factory luggage rack (with a big givi top box on it - see picture) has failed. Serious fractures on both sides on the thin metal where the bolts go that mount the unit to the backrest. If I hadn't discovered it the whole deal could have fallen off onto the street and I probably wouldn't have known it.

This week I intend to look into a possible fix for the problem.

Just wanted you all to be aware if you have a luggage rack.
