Started off on Saturday here at the best BBQ joint in the area (and that's sayin' something for Kansas City). We had about 30 people show up for the event and had a great time. After filling up on incredible BBQ, we all went to mine and Kat's place for wine tasting and a short tour of our vineyard. Thanks everyone for the kind comments on our wine efforts. After the wine tasting, we all headed back up North for the 90 some mile trip to St. Joseph and the fine Drury Inn. Great evening with some surprise guests. Clff and Jackie made it from Louisiana, Bryan from Milwaukee, and Conrad form Beachburg, Ont. all made the trek. Talk about dedication to the group! We all had a fine time at the hotel and watched lots of pictures of the Lake George M&G as well as many from last year's event in Salida. Thanks, Cliff for making the video presentation. I think one or two adult beverages were consumed during the evening but not really sure. Nice to see so many familiar faces and to have met some new ones as well. We are beginning to cause "talk" around the country because we get together so many times a year now. So much fun is had when we do that I don't care what anybody says. My only question is, "When and where is the next get-together?" Too long to wait until the next M&G next year, that's for sure.
