In the interest of doing more rides, and seeing more of the home state, I'm going to propose to the 1300 community we hold a Missouri 'Roll-Call' 'Rally' 'Meet-n-Ride'. Just a day ride (no more than an 8hr ride for anyone), so there should still be time left to party that night.

That being said...Here's the 1st Missouri Breaks (meet-n-ride). This event is targeted to 1300 riders in Missouri, but is open to all motorcycle riders.

We're going to have the 1st event in Jefferson City on May 30th.

I'll offer to everyone that they pack a lunch, or stop somewhere local and get it 'to go' (a major commercial area is within a few miles of the lake, across 50hwy). I'll try to have some ice/water/refreshments available, but I tend to keep things a bit informal so feel free to BYOBottles.....(^8

The meeting spot is Binder Lake. It's a small city lake, clean and with several available vistas for pics. I've marked the lake entrance for easier mapping, but I'll reset this to our location as the event draws near. After a quick lunch & chat we'll head off for a ride to the capital (we'll need to get a couple of pics for the site while we're here), then on to Ellis-Porter park for farewells. The ride shouldn't be longer than an hour.

For those in need of seat time, here's a chance to get a shakedown ride before the haul to TN.

our first trip to the dragon was amazing! Actually it was our first trip anywhere for that long and that far. the only thing or part of me that didn't have a wonderful time or live the amazing adventure was my derrier...lol strange but true! gonna put the ultimate seat on don's baby before we do that again. and as doubtful as the weather forcast was before we left, we still left on time and graciously enough, we didn't have to ride in the rain until the last day going home, whew! it even waited to rain until after we had done the dragon for the first time ever, now that was either pure luck and precision timing! if there are any tennessians or kentuckians out there.....you have the most absolutely gorgous states, I am so jealous! and the people were amazing too. I'd go back and do it again in a heartbeat.

Hi All,

IslandGuy and I must have been channelling each other around noon today! Saw his entry on matching funds for t-shirt sales along the lines of what PaulinOKC has offered previously. I too will throw my hat in the ring. I will match $1 for every t-shirt sold up to $200.

You may note that I have created this entry as an EVENT. I did that so that anyone else who would like to "CALL THIS ANTE" can SIGN UP!

We currently have 35 riders signed up to make the trip to Gattlinburg. I hope to be in that number, but just don't know if I can make the trip work yet. Either way, with that many riders showing up at the Children's Home, I really hope they can show up with a BIG CHECK and be proud of what this forum can accomplish!

PUT YOUR GAME FACE ON AND SIGN UP!

You have been challenged! You have been dared! You're two lengths behind in the drag race! Buy another brick for your mansion in Heaven! (Whatever it takes to get your motor running!)

I decided this year we'll go the potluck route for our picnic. Please have a look at the items below
that we need for the picnic. I'll be supplying the hot-dogs & charcoal. If you can bring one or more
items, please sign up below.

I am sure someone will ask me about the numbers that will be attending... and to be honest, I am not
sure. I would count on at least 50 and as many as 100.
